Tramline could be "wasted opportunity", says Lord Mayor

The lack of a right-hand turn into North Terrace on Adelaide’s new tramline threatens to undermine the “whole reason” for building it, Lord Mayor Martin Haese said after his council unanimously backed a push to send the Weatherill Government back to the drawing board.

North Tce facing pedestrian 'tidal wave', council warned

The Adelaide City Council has been warned it needs to seriously consider upgrading the western end of North Terrace to cope with increased foot traffic after the new Royal Adelaide Hospital opens later this year.
