The 23-year-old, who won the club best-and-fairest award in 2014, recently expressed his desire to stay at the club by locking in a long-term AFL deal.
“He’s a club champion at a young age, the youngest player ever elected to the Swans leadership group, a fantastic person to have around the footy club and a terrific player,” Sydney’s general manager of football Tom Harley said.
