Commenting on the story: Still no word on SA vax target deadline

Thank goodness the South Australian Premier is resisting the call to predict the unpredictable.

I’m tired of politicians submitting to media and other pressure to predict or commit to something prematurely, and then putting up with all the disappointment and ‘outrage’ when it doesn’t eventuate.

By all accounts the vaccination rate has lost some momentum and is erratic in its progress. It is clearly apparent that the date for achieving 90% vaccination is far from being able to be predicted with any certainty at this time. – James Sage

Commenting on the story: Venues worried about ‘playing bouncer’ for double-vax entry rule

Just returned from NSW, where Covid check-in and proof of double vaccination is required for entry in most venues and businesses.

Let’s just get on with it and make this state great again. – Emanuela Iannace

Now that we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that fully vaccinated people are able to infect others just as well as unvaccinated people, I don’t understand why there is such a vindictive drive to treat unvaccinated people as pariahs and make any discrimination based on vaccination status.

Why lock the unvaccinated out of bars, clubs, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Festival Theatres, hospitals etc when the latest medical information from the UK and USA shows that peak viral load in both vaccinated and unvaccinated people with the delta strain is the same? Both groups can transmit it quite efficiently. – Peter Dandy

What a wonderful complex. Love the concept and the art works are stunning. – Christine Neal

Commenting on the story: A deep dive into the sparkling wines of the Adelaide Hills

I found reading your article extremely interesting and now that our family live in London, we are finding it difficult to source Australian sparkling wine over here.

This is only a recent occurrence as they were previously always on our table for family get togethers. After Brexit it was my assumption that Australian sparkling would have been much more plentiful over here, but the shops are still full of cava (Spanish) or prosecco (Italian). Shame really, as Aussie sparkling is definitely our favourite. – Linda Watson

Commenting on the story: The proof is in the panettone for artisan pastry chef Luis Cavuoto

Really great article about an amazing artisan pastry chef. His panettone is delicious. Great to see local retailers promoted as well.

Keep up the great work, Ben Kelly. – Carl Phillipson
