The St John Christmas Home and Lifestyle Lottery will begin with a staggering $4 million worth of weekly prize draws, with the first weekly draw deadline to purchase tickets being this Sunday September 29.

This first draw alone features two homes to be won on Hindmarsh Island, nestled amongst the spectacular Coorong and surrounded by the pristine beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula, each with $25,000 cash.

This is all before the $4 million luxury grand package prize is drawn in December.

In its third year, the St John Christmas Home and Lifestyle Lottery continues to be a critical component of the financial support needed to continue to save lives in the South Australian community.

St John SA’s CEO Mark Groote says the breadth of prizes show the amazing community support offered by the South Australian businesses involved.

“The lottery means that we can continue to provide the support out there in the community right now,” Groote says.

“Whether it is the recent bushfire seasons or the global pandemic, St. John SA is there to support broader emergency services, with the responsibility to preserve life through first aid.”

The draws include fortnightly home packages from Fairmont Homes, with houses located in Victor Harbor, Middleton, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island and the Barossa Valley.

All the homes come with an additional $25,000 in cash, except for the Middleton location, which comes with $50,000, raising its total value to over an amazing $500,000.

Alternate weekly prizes also include an array of cars, caravans, boats, motorbikes and 50 South Australian holidays to popular destinations including Kangaroo Island, Barossa Valley, Flinders Rangers, Port Lincoln and Mount Gambier.

The stunning $4 million grand prize will be drawn on December 15.

The lucky person wins a $3.3 million Samuel James fully-furnished, four-bedroom home in Walkerville, with a heated outdoor pool, two Porsches in the driveway and a $130,000 premium wine collection. The winner will also receive matching Tag Heuer watches worth $15,000 and an additional $250,000 in cash.

There is a 1 in 7 chance of winning one of over 30,000 prizes.

St. John SA supports more than 20,000 patients each year and for the past 135 years, their first aid and community services have ensured that hospital beds are available to those needing critical care.

“If it wasn’t for the lottery, we might not be able to work at such high capacity as we do,” Groote says.

“By purchasing a ticket, you are supporting St. John SA in saving the lives within our communities.”

All proceeds from the lottery tickets will go towards volunteer training, event health services, youth development and first aid in schools, as well as public health access.

The deadline for the first weekly prize is September 26.
