O-Bahn buses have resumed after a car driven onto tracks shut down the service between the Tea Tree Gully and Paradise interchanges early Wednesday morning.

Police said this morning that a car was driven onto the track at 3am, with investigations revealing the driver had suffered a medical episode.

The car was lifted from the tracks after 7am.

Adelaide Metro said earlier this morning that O-Bahn services would run as usual but buses would have to use roads instead of the track between the Tea Tree Plaza and Paradise interchange and that passengers faced delays of up to 20 minutes.

But Adelaide Metro said at 9am that the track had been cleared and normal services had resumed.
