Human remains found in Williamstown park

Police will continue investigations at a conservation park in Williamstown this morning after human remains were found yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to the Hale Conservation Park on Warren Road about 1.15pm on Tuesday after the remains were found by a member of the public.

The circumstances surrounding the person’s death are currently under investigation.

Police remained at the scene overnight with inquiries continuing this morning.

Meanwhile, a cyclist who was hit by a train at North Adelaide on June 23 has died from his injuries.

Police announced this morning that the 64-year-old from West Lakes Shore, died on Sunday, July 24.

Emergency services were called to the North Adelaide Railway Station on War Memorial Drive about 5pm on Thursday June 23 after a cyclist crossing the tracks had been hit by a train.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
