Emergency services were called to Carey Avenue in Seaton at 10:20 last night after reports a man had been stabbed in the stomach.

Ambulance officers assisted the man, but he died at the scene.

Police say they don’t believe it was a random attack.

Major Crime officers and crime scene investigators attended with Carey Avenue closed for several hours.

Police ask anyone who was around Carey Avenue last night or has dashcash or CCTV vision is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
