Police went to an Elizabeth East house at 10am Friday morning and arrested a 51-year-old man.

He was charged with murder and refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

On April 13, police charged 26-year-old Liam Slanno with murder at Elizabeth East. A BMW was also seized at the house. 

Emergency services were called to Barrpowell Street at Welland at about 1.30am Wednesday April 10 after Holdback was found unresponsive on the road. The 21-year-old died at the scene.

Police said that shortly before his death Holdback met with two occupants of a BMW sedan, there was an argument and Holdback fled on foot being being assaulted.

Police are asking anyone who locates a knife, blood-stained clothing or items of interest along South Rd, Port River Expressway, Salisbury Highway, John Rice Avenue or Main North Rd to Elizabeth East  to contact Crime Stoppers.
