Police said a Ford Territory travelling south hit a Hyundai and a Corolla at the intersection of The Grove Way and Atlantis Drive at about 12.10pm.

A 32-year-old Blair Athol woman died at the scene, while a 42-year-old Golden Grove was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Ford driver, a 61-year-old Hillbank man, was also injured and taken to hospital.

Police later said they were investigating if the red Ford Territory was involved in a rear-ender collision on The Grove Way shortly before the fatal crash.

They’ve appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage of the vehicle travelling south on The Grove Way to contact Crime Stoppers.
