The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) first reported a power blackout in the building just before 9.30am and said it was closed to the public.

An hour later, it said the building would be closed to the public for the rest of the day.

“Due to an issue with the power supply, the Sir Samuel Way building will be closed to the public for the rest of today, Monday 14 August,” the CAA posted on Twitter.

“All Court hearings will be rescheduled and the parties will be advised by the Court.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
