Police said that officers and emergency services responded to a serious crash at about 3.30 this morning with reports that a car left the road and crashed into a building.

All lanes travelling north and south bound on Goodwood Road have been blocked from the intersection of Daws Road and Springbank Road until Piccadilly Crescent, some blocks south of the junction.

Major crash is attending the scene with motorists requested to avoid the area.
