Million dollar fire destroys Kangaroo Island restaurant
Fire has gutted a restaurant on Kangaroo Island, leaving a damage bill of about $1 million.

Country Fire Service crews responded to the blaze at the Shy Wren restaurant at Penneshaw, on the island’s north coast, on Tuesday morning.
The property was fully in flames and it took 25 volunteers from five trucks to bring it under control.
The CFS said the building and its contents were a total loss, but there was nobody inside at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
