The 17-year-old boy was walking along the Esplanade near Yarrum Grove at 10pm on Thursday, January 26, when a white car stopped alongside him.

Police say the car contained four men who spoke to the youth as they slowly drove next to him, before two men got out and forced him into the back seat.

The car slowed down at the roundabout of Pier Street and Partridge Street at Glenelg and the teenager was able to get out before running home and calling police.

Police say the first suspect is possibly aged in his late thirties to early forties, about 190 cm tall, with a large build and “a bit of a belly”.

He had a full black beard with grey in it and was wearing a dark grey hoodie.

The second suspect is described as a bit younger and shorter than the first man, with a muscular build and wearing a white beanie and orange t-shirt.

Southern District CIB detectives are investigating and ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
