In the latest arrest, police detained a 20-year-old man on Thursday and charged him with two counts of rape.

He was expected to front Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.

Those previously charged over the assault include a 17-year-old youth, and three men aged 20, 21 and 23.

The teenage boy and the 20-year-old face one count of rape. The two other men face two counts of rape.

Police allege they were all involved in sexually assaulting the two women in the stairwell of the car park on Hindley Street between late on Saturday, December 3, and early on Sunday, December 4.

They have also arrested another 17-year-old and charged him with inducing a witness to withhold evidence.

“Detectives are aware there are a number of other people involved in the incident and would encourage those people to come forward,” police said in a statement on Friday.
