Police say the driver of the van, a 35-year-old Salisbury man, recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.335.

Police were called to Pooraka at about 6.15pm last night after a white van crashed into another car on Briens Road.

Officers patrolling the area located the driver with the van on South Terrace.

Reports indicated the van had allegedly collided with the back of one car on Hampstead Road, Northfield, another car on Briens Road and then a kerb on South Terrace.

There were no reported injuries.

The driver of the van was reported for drink driving and driving while disqualified and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

His van will be impounded for 28 days.

Police are asking for any witnesses or dash cam footage of the van driving erratically to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a robbery where a car was stolen in the CBD overnight.

About 12.05am, the victim was sitting in his white Nissan Pulsar sedan parked on O’Brien Street, when a blue hatchback vehicle stopped next to him.

A man got out of the car and threatened the victim with a knife, before demanding the keys to the victim’s Pulsar.

The man then got into the victim’s car and left the area, heading south on O’Brien Street with the blue hatchback heading in the same direction.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

Just after 1.30am, police tracked property in the stolen vehicle, and located the Nissan abandoned on Fairlie Drive at Flagstaff Hill.

The stolen vehicle has been seized for forensic examination and police are continuing to investigate the robbery.
