Get behind the work of your local heritage heroes by nominating them for a South Australian Heritage Heroes Award.

These annual awards recognise the efforts of groups and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the upkeep of our state’s remarkable and unique heritage assets. This is an appropriate way to honour these people and their role in our community, conserving heritage for future generations to learn from and enjoy.

Nominations close 11 April, see the Hawke Centre website for more details. The awards will be presented on Wednesday 28 May 2014.

These awards are proudly presented by the SA Heritage Council, in partnership with the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources and the Hawke Centre.
