The historic Salopian Inn at McLaren Vale is a landmark eatery which has been totally renovated, updated and revitalised by Karena and Michael Armstrong.  The food selection is eclectic and guests can also indulge their fancy for an aperitif at the Salopian’s Bar which boasts one of the largest Gin collections in the country.

Back in Adelaide, after a hiatus of two years, Penfolds’ flagship restaurant Magill Estate now sports a funky new look.  With the aim of offering one of the signature eating experiences in Australia, Magill Estate’s inspired degustation menu has a new focus on foods sourced from the same regions as the company’s world-renowned wines.

Chef Rosa Matto presents some hot tips for the barbeque season.   Based on a southern Indian recipe and using fresh Coriander and South Australian yoghurt, her BBQ Chicken Skewers are a fabulous addition to any alfresco cook up.

Pete Michell spends a day in Port Lincoln on the Tesla, an electric-powered launch which tours the local marina.   Captain Fred is just the man to take you on a journey that’s chock-a-block full of wonderful tales about the town’s commercial fishing industry and the many families that have created empires from this very lucrative business.
