Flinders Ranges by Foot welcomes weekend walks

Rawnsley Park Station is now offering a Weekend Walks package for people wanting to explore the Flinders Ranges on foot.

A shorter version of its three and five-day guided walks, the weekend package is for people who want to experience the area’s magnificent scenery and wildlife but have limited time.

The two day walk covers the 9.2 kilometre Wilcolo Trail, parts of the Brachina Gorge and Aroona Valley, and finishes with the stunning 942 metre high climb to Rawnsley Bluff.

Available on selected dates, the package includes two nights’ accommodation in a luxury eco-villa, dinner at the Woolshed Restaurant, guided walks over two days, breakfast, morning tea and late checkout.

The walks will be led by the station’s bushwalking guide and author Kym Tilbrook who also leads the three and five day bushwalks.
