The grand final of the 2015 SA Pub Burger Challenge has been run and won.
Sponsored by Holco Fine Meat Suppliers and the Australian Hotels Association, the 12 hotel finalists cooked their burgers in front of a live audience and expert judging panel at the SA Hospitality Show held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday.
And the winner is… THE TONSLEY HOTEL.
A flamed grilled Waygu beef pattie, dill cucumber pickles, fresh tomato, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, red onion, beerenberg tomato chutney, aioli and gourmet lettuce on a toasted sour dough bun.
