Industrial Relations Minister Kyam Maher said Danny Connor had extensive experience in workers compensation and alternative dispute resolution and would take up the role in early September.

Since 2015, Connor has been manager of the Worker’s Compensation Service, a free legal service run by ReturnToWorkSA and SA Unions.

Prior to that he worked in personal injury practice at Slater & Gordon legal firm in Geelong.

Maher said that Connor was “widely respected by legal practitioners on both sides of the fence for being a practical and conscientious lawyer, who understands the interests of both injured workers and employers”.

“His significant experience in workers compensation and industrial relations will be an asset to the SAET, and ensure it can continue to provide timely dispute resolution at the highest level of quality,’” he said.
