Radio ratings: Nova takes number one spot

Nova has knocked Mix 102.3 off its perch to take the number one spot in the latest Adelaide radio ratings survey.

Nova 91.9 increased its share of listeners by 0.7 percentage points to claim the top spot by the barest margin.

Long-standing leader Mix, on top for 27 surveys, fell 0.4 points to second place in GfK’s Survey 7, taken from August 18 to November 2.

FIVEaa climbed slightly to leapfrog ABC Radio Adelaide into third spot.

Nova built its climb to top spot on the back of strong increases in afternoons and drive.

ABC Radio Adelaide’s Ali Clarke increased her listener share by 0.7 percentage points to cement her lead in the important breakfast slot, while FIVEaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings also rose by 0.6 percentage points to retain second spot.

Mix is in third place at breakfast following a 0.05 percentage point fall, with Nova holding fourth spot after a 0.04 per cent fall.
