SEA Gas – the company that owns and operates the high-pressure natural gas pipeline system connecting Port Campbell, Mortlake and Adelaide – has appointed Eric Bardy as Chief Executive Officer. 

Bardy has worked as the company’s Head of Operations for the past seven years and has spent the last six months as Acting Chief Executive Officer after the retirement of Wendy Oldham earlier this year after 30 years in the industry, including seven as SEA Gas Chief Executive Officer.

Bardy is the former Manager of Operations Planning for SA Power Networks and spent more than a decade with Santos in leadership roles including Flood Recovery Manager and Productions Operations Manager.

He has also held roles with ExxonMobil and Mobil Oil.

Property Council’s new executive

The Property Council of Australia’s South Australia Policy and Media Manager, Richard Fowler, has been promoted to South Australian Deputy Executive Director.

Fowler joined the council in 2021 from roles as a Senior Policy Adviser for Ministers in South Australia and New South Wales.

He worked for almost a decade at Ensemble Consulting Group where he began as Marketing Manager in 2008 before being promoted to Business Development Director in 2013 and Head of Change Management in 2016.

Joining the UDIA

Skyy Anderson has been appointed Policy Director of the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s South Australia Division (UDIA SA).

Anderson joins the industry body from her role as Town Planner with Fyfe Pty Ltd – an integrated engineering, environment, planning and survey firm.

She has previously held roles as Town Planner for MasterPlan and as a Senior Compliance Officer and Debt Management Specialist for the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance.

Senior Human Resources Advisor for Welding Industries Australia, a leading global manufacturer bringing welding brands to the ANZ market.

Assistant Payroll Manager for the national company HenderCare, a registered NDIS and Home Care Package provider and supplier of acute healthcare services.

Finance Manager for the Fairmont Group, South Australia’s largest integrated housing and development company based in new city fringe offices.

Deputy Principal (R-12) for highly-regarded Catholic and Anglican co-educational school, St Columba College, located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Inaugural CEO

Robert Cebulski has been appointed as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the Rowlands Group which comprises Rowlands Metalworks, Defence Coating Systems, Spark Furniture and Pecan Lighting.

Cebulski joins the company from the cargo handling solutions and services company Kalmar Oceania where he was Vice President of Services.

He has also served as General Manager of Inver Port Services.

The appointment comes as Rowlands Group formally brings the four companies together under a single entity.

Finding ZEN

ZEN, Australia’s first 1.5° energy company, has appointed Phillipa Chen as Chief Financial Officer.

Chen joins the energy company after 16 years with the Macquarie Group where she most recently held the role of Director of Macquarie Asset Management.

She is a former Director of the Board of Port of Newcastle.

New Principal for St Ann’s

Denise Von Wald has stepped down as the Principal of St Ann’s College in North Adelaide after four years in the role.

Von Wald currently serves as a Director of the Student Accommodation Association and the Adelaide Venue Management Corporation, a Non-Executive Director of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency and a Board Member for Festival City ADL.

She is the former Regional General Manager of the United Kingdom and Northern Europe for Tourism Australia and the former Chief Executive Officer of StudyAdelaide.

She has also served as a Member on the Boards of the International Education Association of Australia, the Adelaide Convention Centre and Regional Development Australia Adelaide.

Von Wald will be succeeded by the current Dean of St Ann’s College, Wendy Fleming.

Fleming joined St Ann’s College in 2021 from her role as Dean at All Souls St Gabriels School. 

She has an extensive career in education working at Morongo Girls College, Mowbray College, West Moreton Anglican College and Whitsunday Anglican School.
