Adelaide Cabaret Festival artistic director Julia Zemiro nominates six highlights – from classic cabaret acts to the unexpected – amid an eclectic line-up of festival performances featuring more than 380 artists over 16 days.
One of the last remaining antique Belgium mirror tents will come to life for Julia Zemiro’s inaugural Adelaide Cabaret Festival, hosting an eclectic line-up of live performances and a late-night club on weekends.
“The band is loud, the band is raucous, so that’s where I’m at right now … I want to be the Mick Jagger of the cabaret world,” Paul Capsis says of his high-octane show revealed as part of Julia Zemiro’s first Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
