Almost 30 artists including Ali McGregor, Kate Ceberano, Robyn Archer and David Campbell will feature in a bite-sized and digital version of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival that celebrates the spirit of the winter event in its 20th anniversary year.
The coronavirus crisis has forced the cancellation of this year’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival, which was preparing to celebrate its 20th anniversary with the final program curated by artistic director Julia Zemiro.
“The band is loud, the band is raucous, so that’s where I’m at right now … I want to be the Mick Jagger of the cabaret world,” Paul Capsis says of his high-octane show revealed as part of Julia Zemiro’s first Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
