Radio Adelaide settles with ABC, accepts name change

Radio Adelaide will contemplate its own rebrand after it agreed to an out-of-court settlement with the ABC, allowing the public broadcaster to change the name of its local station to “ABC Radio Adelaide”.

The ABC’s Adelaide radio station today announced it was celebrating changing its name from 891 ABC to “ABC Adelaide”, but its Sydney bosses are promising a legal fight to allow it use its preferred option – ABC Radio Adelaide.
