Adelaide Oval football membership is now fully subscribed with management opening up a waitlist.

The 8,000 memberships – which give members fully-transferable access to all Crows and Power home games – were taken up in the month after the Stadium Management Authority (SMA) scrapped its original plan for “Ultimate” memberships that covered football and cricket.

Separate membership packages were then drawn up.

SMA chief executive Andrew Daniels said filling the membership list was another plus for the Oval’s redevelopment.

“The Ashes is already a virtual sell-out, the SMA has sold out of its corporate suites, our Stadium Club memberships are on track to sell out by the end of the year and we have now had to open a wait list for the Adelaide Oval Football Membership,” Daniels said.

“From today, confirmation letters will start arriving in people’s letterboxes advising eligible registrants that they have successfully secured an Adelaide Oval Football Membership.”

The Adelaide Oval Football Membership ($550 Adult, $460 Concession, $270 Junior) was offered on a priority basis to existing SANFL Premier Members and those who had registered for the withdrawn Ultimate membership.

Those who missed out can now register their name on the  wait list for a one-off fee of $50, the SMA said.
