Commenting on the opinion piece: Quiet Australians spoke up to reject Morrison 

Mr Morrison’s final straw that lost me was when, as Michelle Grattan reminds us, he labelled the “Teals” as fakes.

Just look at their qualifications and lives before the brave step into politics – all are exactly what we need in our parliament; people with intelligence, integrity and vision for the nation (and not for themselves or any party). Throughout the six weeks of the election I never once saw a poster of Scott Morrison. I suspect the Liberal Party’s qualitative polling told them, even before the election was called, that their leader was on the nose.
