Commenting on the opinion piece: Quiet Australians spoke up to reject Morrison

Mr Morrison’s final straw that lost me was when, as Michelle Grattan reminds us, he labelled the “Teals” as fakes.

Just look at their qualifications and lives before the brave step into politics – all are exactly what we need in our parliament; people with intelligence, integrity and vision for the nation (and not for themselves or any party). I’m relieved to see our democracy still working so well. – David Everett

Throughout the six weeks of the election I never once saw a poster of Scott Morrison. I suspect the Liberal Party’s qualitative polling told them, even before the election was called, that their leader was on the nose.

It makes little sense then, that on a daily basis for six weeks he strutted his arrogance on the public stage, as if he was the only actor they had. – Sandra Kanck

Commenting on the story: ‘This is not what One Nation supporters voted for’: Party founder slams SA MP

Sarah (Game) presented as an articulate MP with sound conservative principles. Hermaiden speech and her excellent conduct in the debate in relation to the new Covid Bill reveals that. – Christopher Brohier
