Commenting on the story: SA unveils digital vaccination check-in system
Downloaded the mySAGov update this morning. Now it won’t let me log in (invalid email or password message – but it isn’t!) so I can’t link my vaccine certificate via the Medicare app.
I’ve lost count of the number of times this has happened to me and to say I’m fed up is an understatement. – Sheila Jarmain
Commenting on the story: Concerns over complex SA border system
I’ve tried and tried to link my vaccination certificate to my SAGov account and there is no way to do it. Perhaps that is yet to come. The system won’t recognise my Medicare number either on the EntryCheck, so very frustrating so far. Others have smoothly navigated. Unfortunately the call centre was swamped too. – Chris Morris
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned and I believe has been overlooked by SA Health is; what happens top those of us already in quarantine?
I relocated from Victoria on an exemption and have been in home quarantine for a week (three negative tests) and according to the home quarantine help desk I am meant to complete the full 14 days. Even though I came from an area that is regarded as low risk under the new provisions and if I came in today I wouldn’t have to quarantine at all.
Just doesn’t make any sense. – Neal Reid
Commenting on the opinion piece: For reasons you can’t see, SA’s border opening means my life will shrink
Brave and true, Sarah. Stay masked. Stay safe. Keep building those B cells. – Celine McInerney
Beautifully written. I hope your words and story help to convince a few more people that getting vaccinated and wearing a mask is not just about “them” and their rights.
Good luck Sarah and thank you for sharing your story. – Sharyn Rogers

As always a fair and insightful assessment, if a little pessimistic.
Admittedly, I am always deludedly optimistic pre-season, before a ball is kicked, but if the young brigade can find their groove we could be in for an enjoyable season. With a year under their belt, our coaching team should have learned a lot too. Go Reds! – Rob Hart
