Commenting on the story: Statewide lockdown from 6pm as Delta outbreak grows
I sat in line at the Victoria Park testing site from 6 pm until midnight last night (Monday 19), before I was tested.
When I finally reached the area that you enter for testing, a young male worker was advising people they were not allowed to embark from their cars once they entered.
He advised people however if they needed to use the toilets nearby, now was the time prior to entering. Well…if you actually didn’t have COVID-19 prior to going to the toilet you could possibly walk out with it.
People should not be allowed to come in contact with others. – Vicki Larritt
Commenting on the story: Lockdown a major blow for Adelaide’s winter festivals
Don’t forget the many visual artists and galleries gearing up for the South Australian Living Artists Festival. Many exhibitions are already open.

Commenting on the story: Construction shutdown to take ‘heavy toll’ on industry
There has been other industries that have shut down for longer than two weeks Australia-wide.
Look at theatres, and concert venues. Most of those have been shut down for months especially in 2020. Must venues have casual staff and, if lucky, full-time and part-time. They have no work for months and the construction industry complain about a few days.
Give a me a break, that is not real hardship compared to the battering the arts industry has had since the first lockdown in 2020. Now you know what others have been through. – Stephen Dean
Commenting on the story: ‘Ridiculous decision’: MPs fuming as parliament sits
I thought essential workers were exempt from restrictions, or are the precious little darlings telling us they are not essential? Hard to disagree. – Paul McKinnon
Perhaps the MPs would like to consider doing what they were elected to do, be accountable and exercise control over the unelected health bureaucrats – or is that too big an ask? – Simon Lovell
Commenting on the story: Touch Of The Fumbles: Re-generation
Brilliant read. The only winners each season are the ones at polar ends: flag or draft pick. – Kerry Wood
Well written, albeit with wonderful cynical wit.
I’ve been told that when you deal in facts, you won’t stray far from the truth. Sadly for we Crows supporters the article only dealt with the facts. I don’t know who gets the final say on draft night, but that seems to be where we keep getting it wrong. – David Nuske
