Educators SA awards outstanding educators and associations

Educators work hard to ensure the best outcomes for our children and young people, and this has never been more evident than this year as South Australian educators have continued to work through the COVID crisis.

Lisa-Jane O’Connor, the president of Educators SA, the peak body for educational associations in South Australia, said that this year’s awards celebrate the frontline workers who kept our schools going through the pandemic.

“Like many frontline professionals, they have put the needs of children and families first, adapted their programs to be both online and face to face and exerted every bit of energy to keep preschools and schools running effectively,” O’Connor said.

“We acknowledge the tremendous contribution of every educator in South Australia during 2020. Every South Australian educator deserves an award this year.”

As part of the annual World Teachers’ Day celebrations, Educators SA presents a range of awards to recognise outstanding educators and professional associations.
