At nearly 30 years in business, Murray Bridge-based Thomas Foods International will appear at JOBEX, looking to build on its already world-renowned presence in the global food production market.

“Thomas Foods International has earned a reputation as the most sought-after supplier of the finest Australian lamb, mutton, beef, goat and processed co-products in the world,” international group HR manager Morna Young says.

“The company delivers a range of high-quality meats and fresh produce to an increasing number of consumers across Australia and the world.”

In being a part of the state’s largest career expo, Young hopes to introduce the company to a wide range of South Australian job seekers.

“We want to showcase our company to job seekers and demonstrate the exciting career opportunities on offer with a growing South Australian family company,” she says.

“We will have representatives from across all areas of our business attending JOBEX, where they will be explaining the many different types of roles available at Thomas Foods International, [and] job seekers will have direct access to our human resources team to discuss career opportunities.

“The state’s food production industry employs thousands of South Australians. Thomas Foods International is also a significant employer of regional workers at our Murray Bridge and Lobethal facilities.

“The future remains very bright for job opportunities and career development paths in the industry.”

The company also continues to experience physical growth, matching its expanding capacity, having “invested significantly in upgrading and expanding its facilities in recent years, including our state-of-the-art processing facilities in Murray Bridge and Lobethal”, Morna says.

For South Australians looking for jobs, it offers not only an opportunity to be a part of a company experiencing growth, but also to be a part of a sustainability-minded team,

“With its commitment to environmental initiatives and management, Thomas Foods International is leading the industry in sustainable practices,” Morna says.

“South Australia’s reputation for clean, green and premium produce has seen the food industry experience solid growth in recent years.”

To meet with the Thomas Foods International team and speak with them about the job opportunities on offer, head to the JOBEX website, register for your free ticket, and go along to the expo.
