The blaze was sparked on Tuesday near Yundi, on the Fleurieu Peninsula, and took Country Fire Service ground crews and water bombers until this afternoon to bring under control.

The CFS says there’s still smoke in the area and falling trees could also pose a risk for local residents.

Also today, the CFS quickly contained bushfires at Quorn, in the southern Flinders Ranges, and at Buckland Park, northwest of Adelaide.
