Abraham exit set to shake up breakfast wars
Media and marketing
Adelaide’s dominant breakfast radio shift is set for a shakeup with longstanding ABC morning broadcaster Matt Abraham set to leave the station.

Abraham has fronted the breakfast timeslot with David Bevan for several years but will be on air for the last time next Friday.
He’s told listeners the decision to leave has been his, although he intends to still be involved in journalism in some form.
“This is my decision and it’s a decision I didn’t take lightly,” he said.
“Frankly, I’m excited but also terrified.
A South Australian institution @KevCorduroy announces he's leaving. He's set the agenda with @DavidBevanSA for as long as I can remember.

“I’m going to have a long rest. I’m going to sleep and fish and write, in that order.”I’ve always been a journalist in my working life and I plan to continue somehow.”
