This privately-owned company operating in the energy sector with revenue in excess of $300 million and employing over 300 professional staff, delivers a range of solutions across the state. With a strong focus on high performance, safety and continuous improvement, they are committed to delivering sustainable growth solutions and are at the forefront of global change in the energy sector. Following an independent review, there is now a need for an experienced Manager Digital and Cyber, to develop and lead the digital, cyber security and information management strategies for the organisation.

This newly created role reporting to the Group Executive People, Safety & Environment is responsible for developing and implementing the roadmap for the enterprise-wise operating systems and database for both, the cloud strategy and the upgrade of IT applications across the organisation.  You will drive key strategies and tactics to achieve the enterprise objectives through effective stakeholder management, while providing advice to the executive and senior leaders as it relates to critical cyber risk and overall cyber risk tolerance. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating critical cyber internal and external threats to the organisation, whilst assuring alignment and relevance to the company’s business resilience strategy. 

Technically astute and a natural leader, you will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse stakeholder group. With experience in a similar leadership role, where you have designed and implemented digital, security and information management architecture throughout corporate, private and public cloud environments, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive and executive team. With previous knowledge from working in a complex regulated corporate environment, you will be a strategic thinker with the expertise to act decisively and initiate urgent action to overcome digital and cyber issues. Tertiary qualifications are required, with CISSP, CISM or industry-related certification desirable.
