Almost 300 names of South Australian leaders and entrepreneurs under the age of 40 have been submitted so far to the awards, which are being presented by InDaily in partnership with Deloitte.

Nominations close on April 26, with the full list of 40 young leaders to be announced at a National Wine Centre dinner on June 7.

Business leader Nicole Underwood, who will be part of the 40 under 40 judging panel, said she would be looking for young leaders who were willing to challenge the status quo.

“I am thrilled to part of the inaugural 40 Under 40 awards in South Australia and I am really looking forward to hearing the stories of entrepreneurs and business leaders in our state and why they love doing business in SA,” said Underwood, founder and managing director of recruitment firm, Underwood Executive.

“As a panel member, I will be looking for those leaders who are making a significant contribution and who are willing to move outside their comfort zone and challenge the status quo to make a difference in their industry or business.
