The third annual version of the index will be revealed in full on Thursday, with today the final sneak peek before the full top 100 is revealed.

New entrants in this section of the list include companies involved in agriculture,

The index is compiled by Adelaide financial services firm, Taylor Collison, and is based on revenue and estimated market capitalisation (some private companies have requested this data not be made public).

Companies are considered eligible for the list if they have a South Australian head office, with an Adelaide share registry, or are SA operated, founded and majority-owned by South Australians. Qualifying companies can’t be government-run, agencies of government or a registered charity.

Today is the final day to book for the event which will launch the list – the South Australian Business Index luncheon on Thursday September 28 at Adelaide Oval.
