US pick-up artist's visa cancelled
News
The visa for controversial US pick-up artist Jeff “Jeffy” Allen has been cancelled, says immigration minister Peter Dutton.

Allen was set to begin a national tour with seminar group Real Social Dynamics (RSD) which has been widely criticised for teaching men how to abuse women.
“I can say that a person associated with this particular movement has had his visa cancelled,” Dutton told Sky News.
“These people, who are completely without legitimate cause to be here, don’t meet our character tests.”

RSD, co-founded by Allen, announced on Sunday via Twitter that the tour had been cancelled but critics feared he would still be able to enter the country.
“On behalf of the RSD Team we apologise for cancelling all Jeff Free Tour events in Australia. Once again we’re sorry for the inconvenience,” RSD tweeted.
A change.org petition which called on Mr Dutton to cancel Allen’s visa reached more than 60,000 signatures.
Allen is also a colleague of banned US pick-up artist Julien Blanc who was deported in 2014 for promoting misogyny and violence against women.
