Ring in the New Year at Adelaide’s New Year’s Eve

Elder Park on the beautiful banks of the River Torrens will host South Australia’s biggest New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday December 31.

The recently refurbished historic rotunda will be transformed into  a spectacular live music stage, with the surrounding lawns dotted with food stalls and a licensed beer garden, featuring the exclusive BankSA Customer Lounge.

BankSA card holders will have exclusive access with up to three friends to this special area offering shaded seating, entertainment and refreshments simply by showing their BankSA card.

Free festivities begin at 7pm with live music and continue throughout the night with bands on the main stage including The Timbers, Ryley, Prime, Echo and the Empress, Alphabette, Thom Lion & The Tamers and Corey Theatre.

The Nine News fireworks will light up the sky at 9pm and midnight, designed by the award-winning Foti International Fireworks.

A range of local beers and wines will be available for sale in the licenced beer gardens with the rest of Elder Park a dry area.

BankSA Chief Executive, Nick Reade, said the event was a fantastic way for South Australians to welcome the new year in one of the city’s most iconic settings.

“There will be plenty on offer for all ages and if you’re a BankSA customer, you’ll also have exclusive access to hospitality at the BankSA Customer Lounge.”
