This Christmas why not give a gift that gives twice?

Each day until Friday, December 19, Rundle Mall is hosting the Kringle Stall in the Mall; a temporary store selling affordable, unique and quirky Kringle gifts with all proceeds going to the St Vincent De Paul Society Christmas Appeal.

Rundle Mall is on a mission to take the stress out of Kris Kringle shopping by setting up this one-stop Secret Santa shop with gift wrapping also available for a gold coin donation.

All of the stall’s profits will go directly to St Vincent De Paul to help those less fortunate this festive season.

Rundle Mall Marketing Manager Amanda Grocock said the Kringle Stall was born out of a desire to help people from all walks of life this Christmas.

“We wanted to make it easy for gift givers to find unique and inexpensive Kris Kringle presents but even more than that, we wanted to make a contribution to a charity helping thousands of South Australian struggling to make ends meet this Christmas,” Ms Grocock said.

St Vincent de Paul Society (SA)’s State President Brian Spencer welcomed the new initiative, saying it would have wide-reaching benefits.

“This time of year can get very hectic and often it is hard to find time to fit everything in. The Rundle Mall Management Authority have taken the worry of what to purchase for the office Kris Kringle or Secret Santa by developing fun and inexpensive gifts,” Mr Spencer said.

“All proceeds will go to helping South Australian men, women and children this Christmas so you are really giving two gifts at once.”

The Kringle Stall is open between 11am and 8pm daily so be a good Claus for a good cause and pick up your Secret Santa gift at Rundle Mall’s Kringle Stall this festive season.
