InDaily readers embrace comments
News

Thanks to everyone who have joined the debate on InDaily since yesterday when we opened up comments on our stories for the first time.
Debate was interesting and overwhelmingly civil (with only a few reader comments having to be consigned to the naughty corner).
For instructions on how it works, go here.
Comments won’t appear instantly as we moderate them first, but we’ll get them online as quickly as possible.

We’re still happy to receive letters, for those who prefer that method, but the number has already reduced, so they won’t be published daily. When we get a decent collection of letters, we’ll publish them on the Opinion page.
For the record, so far readers have commented most on our story about Jay Weatherill’s plan to grow jobs in the wake of Holden’s announced closure, and Steven Marshall’s policy to move Year 7s into high schools.
Keep it coming.
