Adelaide Hills Winter Reds – July 24 to 26

Visit the Adelaide Hills for a weekend full of events featuring open fires, red wines and rustic fare, overlooking the region’s picturesque vineyards. Visitors must plan ahead and book in at venues as most events are ticketed and COVID-safe restrictions apply. Pop-up Plant Sale and Patisserie Party – July 18 and 19

Prospect-based pizzeria Anchovy Bandit is collaborating with Plant Mum to host a Plant Sale and Patisserie Party every Saturday and Sunday of July, from 8am to 2pm. Peruse plants, enjoy pastries from Mascavado Patisserie, and coffee from McLaren Vale’s Dawn Patrol coffee roasters. The event will be held at 1/96 Prospect Road, next door to Anchovy Bandit.

Adelaide Showground Farmers Market – July 19

Support local farmers and buy fresh, healthy food in the open air at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market every Sunday from 8.30am to 12.30pm, located within the Adelaide Showgrounds with entry from Leader Street or Rose Terrace. At the Farmers’ Market you can find local farming families selling fresh, seasonal produce, with artisanal bakers, pastured eggs, free-range pork and beef, and native flowers, with great coffee and breakfast options.

Belgian National Day – July 18

The Belgian Beer Café will celebrate Belgian National Day a few days early, with games, music, and plenty of beer from 11am. The official Belgian National Day is July 21.

Hark! Coffee Roasting Experience – July 18

For coffee fanatics or aspiring roasters, Duthy Street’s Hark Coffee Roasters is hosting a limited-ticket roasting experience from 2pm, where participants will get behind the equipment and learn how to roast their own coffee.

Prohibition Liquor Co Gin Masterclass – July 26

Prohibition Liquor Co will host a ticketed masterclass at its CBD distillery from 1pm to 2.30pm. Hosted by one of the Prohibition team, the event will provide insights into the gin flight and the distillation process. Spots are limited to 20 per session, with guests guided through a gin masterclass and tasting of three of Prohibition’s finest gins. Enjoy a signature gourmet toastie to accompany the gin flight. Stay around and enjoy live music in the venue from 2pm to 5pm.

Indie Beer Day – July 25

Support and celebrate Australian Independent Breweries at Stepney’s Little Bang Brewing Company for Indie Beer Day, with 21 taps of Little Bang and guest brewery beers to choose from. The fun kicks off at noon.
