The Clare Valley wine region is the focus of a ‘Palate and Pixel’ exhibition by Adelaide photographer John Krüger at the Clare Valley Wine, Food & Tourism Centre.
The Palate and Pixel photographic project is an initiative of the Clare Valley Winemakers’ organisation to create a library of images that capture the emerging talent, heroes and stories behind the region’s wine industry.
“The images aim to reflect the passion, love and labour that goes into producing premium wines that the region is renowned for,” says Clare Valley Winemakers’ chair, Matthew Lawson.
“The audience can see first-hand the authenticity of the Clare Valley wine region through the camera lens. John Krüger has done a wonderful job, beautifully capturing the region through a series of professional and creative images and portraits.”

Visitors to Palate and Pixel will also have the opportunity to learn more about the 2016 Clare with Fresh Eyre, a showcase of Clare Valley Riesling and Eyre Peninsula seafood to be held on the lawns of Sevenhill Cellars in October 2016.
Palate and Pixel will be launched at an exclusive event at the National Wine Centre at 4.30pm on Friday (July 22), with food and wine by Clare Valley producers. Tickets are $35 per person and are available for booking here.
Following the launch, the exhibition will continue at the Clare Valley Wine, Food & Tourism Centre, 8 Spring Gully Road, Clare.
