SkyCity has begun recruiting 700 people as part of the Eos Hotel development.

Designed by Walter Brooke and Genesin Studio, Sol Bar and Restaurant is touted as a rooftop dining experience unlike anything in Adelaide, perched atop the 12-storey hotel with views to the coast and Adelaide Hills.

Along with Sol Bar and Restaurant, Eos Hotel will also feature a Pirate Life microbrewery, as well as stand-alone restaurants and bars, set to open in the coming months.

All new venues will have access to SkyCity’s 7500-bottle master cellar, boasting a focus on South Australian wines.

New Chinese restaurant Huami will offer contemporary, authentic Chinese cuisine, with three private dining rooms and a 1200-bottle wine wall.

Adjoining the Festival Plaza, Italian restaurant ITL will focus on family-friendly dining, with two large wood-fire pizza ovens, freshly made pasta, and gelati.

Located on the main gaming floor of the expansion, Lucky Noodle will serve fast and fresh South-East Asian food, delivering a quick dining option.

To the western side of the SkyCity precinct, Westward will be a new bar offering views of the River Torrens and footbridge, designed as a meeting spot to service Adelaide Oval.

Being built by Hansen Yuncken and adjoining Adelaide Casino, the 120-room hotel will also feature a “world-class” function and conference facility for up to 650 guests.

SkyCity Adelaide general manager David Christian said the new hotel was nearing completion.

“This investment by SkyCity is not only helping to transform our entertainment and tourism industry, but also offering the hospitality industry some incredible recruitment opportunities, with the SkyCity workforce set to expand by approximately 700 employees by the middle of next year,” Christian said.

Having recently established an independent recruitment and training facility on North Terrace, SkyCity has begun a significant recruitment drive to fill job positions. About 1000 workers have been involved in the construction project.
