Each day we’ll be pouring different wines by the glass, to give LOC Mates a sneak preview of the bar, showcase some of the wines we love, and give people an idea of what a summer at LOC will look like,” says founder of LOC Bottle Bar, Olivia Moore.

The LOC Mates dinner series will see neighbouring restaurant SOI.38 plate up regional Thai dishes paired with LOC’s natural wine selection on Friday night from 4pm.

Leigh Street smokers Low & Slow will offer their Southern-style slow-cooked meats (and vegetables) on Saturday, 7 November from 2pm.

On Sunday, from 2pm, the bar will dedicate the entire day to oysters and riesling.

“I’m super excited to be working with friends in the industry, to pull together an event where we can showcase delicious lo-fi wines from Australia and Europe and some of Adelaide’s best bites,” Olivia says.

Attendees will be given a first look at the venue, designed by Norwood firm Kipfler, as well as the range of wines on offer from the bar, some of which will be available for purchase by the glass.

LOC Bottle Bar is the bricks-and-mortar shopfront of online natural wine store LOC Bottle Shop, which Olivia launched in May this year. The business specialises in natural wine from South Australia, Australia and the world.

Tickets to the event are $15 each, available via Eventbrite, and include a glass of wine on arrival, as well as access to discounts on the LOC online store.
