Tuxedo Cat’s Cassandra Tombs, contemporary artist Cynthia Schwertsik, Holly Rollers Studios founder Ray Harris, and John Borley have brought together 20 artists, and the University of South Australia and Elder Conservatorium of Music, to transform Arthur’s two-storey building into a place where “Disneyland meets the Royal [Adelaide] Show.”

There’s a fortune-telling horse, a “do not touch” button you can actually touch, plus interactive projections.

On top of that, there are a range of exhibitions and shows spread across SA LALA LAND’s opening hours – every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout August – so it’s best to visit the ARTHUR page to see what’s available and book a day that suits.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can and kids can visit for free.

SA LALA Land joins more than 300 SALA exhibitions online and in spaces ranging from galleries, cafes and wineries to public parks, footpaths and windows.
