Nicks performed 122 sold-out shows around the world with Fleetwood Mac in 2014-15 and wrote a string of ’70s and ’80s hits such as “Rhiannon”, “Gypsy” and “Landslide”. The multi-platinum-selling artist has also had a highly successful solo career, releasing her most recent album, 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault, in 2014.

Today’s Australian tour announcement, including the Botanic Park show on November 4, comes on the back of her US 24-Karat Gold tour with The Pretenders.

“It’s been thrilling to get on stage each night and sing some of my early gems from early in my career along with getting the chance to sing the material from my last two albums, In Your Dreams and 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault,” Nicks said in a statement.

Promoters say fans can expect full individual sets, including the greatest hits, by both Nicks and The Pretenders, who are known for songs such as “Brass in Pocket”, “Back on the Chain Gang” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong”. Pretenders frontwoman Hynde also released a solo album, Stockholm, in 2014.

Tickets for the Australian tour go on sale from August 18, with pre-sale from August 17.
