The fourth GfK ratings survey for the year, released this morning, showed Triple M was the biggest loser overall, suffering a significant drop in listener numbers across all age groups except the over 65s.

Mix attracted more listeners across most age ranges, and was up 3.3 points in the week-day evening time slot.

FIVEaa increased its overall ranking from fourth to second spot, overtaking ABC891, which dropped form third to fourth. Previous survey leader Nova91.9 took third spot.

But Nova is leading in the competitive drive slot, where ABC891’s Drive with Ian Henschke fell a further 0.6 points to 7.8, after falling 0.7 points in the last survey. TripleM (13.6) also lost ground, but FiveAA gained 0.7 points to 10.8.

Meanwhile, ABC891’s Matt Abraham and David Bevan continue their strong lead in breakfast, up 0.5 points to 16.6, while FiveAA and TripleM both lost listeners.
