Police were called to Stott Highway, 80km north-east of Adelaide, at about 3:50pm on Wednesday after reports of a crash.

The 49-year-driver from Para Hills West died at the scene. He was the sole occupant.

The road was closed while Major Crash investigated but it reopened last last night.

The state’s road toll is now 32.
