Radio ratings: Mix102.3 back on top
Bevan and Abraham hold top spot in breakfast
Music station Mix102.3 has reclaimed top spot in the Adelaide radio ratings with a 1.7 percentage point lift in its share to 15.1.
It takes over from ABC local radio’s 891 which dropped by 1.7 percentage points to 12.0.
The change was across the board, as Mix rebuilt its audience in breakfast and mornings along with smaller increases in later and weekend shifts.
Once-dominant talk station FIVEaa’s first survey lift in February was lost in the second survey which covered the period March 9 to April 12.
FIVEaa’s new breakfast team, David Penberthy, Jane Reilly and Mark Aiston, slumped 2.3 points to 14.2, putting it in third place behind Mix’s Jodie Oddy, Mark Soderstrom and Jason Carter, and the leading ABC team of David Bevan and Matthew Abraham.
In the Drive shift the battle for sports listeners appears to be shifting towards Mark Riccuito and Chris Dittmar on Triple M, with the pair lifting to 9.6 per cent and within striking distance of the sports drive program on FIVEaa (12.7) which has dominated the shift for two decades.
