- How can the planning system support ageing in place, particularly in rural communities?
- How much planning control should local councils have, versus how much should be centralised in the State Government? A particular issue for rural communities.
- How can the planning system be made easier to understand? And how can local communities get in the loop with developments as they are submitted for assessment?
- How can we embed performance management metrics in the planning system, to check it’s functioning as it should?
- How can the planning system deal with projects of statewide significance whilst still respecting the views of the local community?
